Our museum is driven by a dedication to photography as an art form, with an emphasis on artistic intention, technical mastery, and visual coherence. We approach each piece by evaluating its craftsmanship, form, and ability to engage the viewer, allowing the work to speak on its own merits.

We believe that mastering the craft of photography—the technical knowledge of the camera, understanding light and composition, and refining one’s vision—is essential to creating impactful work. The focus is on the artist and the work itself, with no external influences beyond the purity of the medium and the only goal of bringing people together through art.

Here, photography is celebrated for its ability to communicate and evoke emotions through both its artistic and technical excellence. This is a space where the vision and mastery of the artist take center stage, allowing each piece to stand on its own terms.

In our space, we honor the fundamental principle that art is a form of freedom—freedom of expression, freedom from constraints, and freedom to challenge, explore, and create without limitation. Here, the artist’s vision is paramount, and their work is presented in its purest form, free from outside influences or expectations.

We welcome all forms of artistic exploration and embrace the voices that make photography such a vibrant and evolving medium. MUSEUM CURATOR STATEMENT

Curating is more than just selecting works of art—it’s about understanding the power of the medium and allowing it to speak for itself. As a curator, my role is not to impose anything on the work. It’s about creating a space where the photography can stand on its own, where technical mastery and artistic intent come together to engage the viewer. I see my job as guiding the work into the spotlight, giving it context, and allowing the work—and the viewer—to find meaning.

This Photography Museum exists to uplift photographers globally and to promote Unity through Art. It is not driven by personal interests or individual work.

The photographers we display have already honed their skills to the highest level, and my job is to make sure their technical excellence and artistic vision are allowed to shine. Every photograph selected is chosen not just for its visual impact, but for its craftsmanship and the mastery behind it.

In the broader context of the museum, curating is also about creating a dialogue between past and present, between different techniques and styles, and between artistic visions. It’s about uncovering connections, asking questions, and inspiring a deeper understanding of the medium.

By carefully selecting and arranging the elements, I aim to create an environment where viewers gain a better understanding of what it takes to create great photography. I hope they leave with a deeper appreciation for the craft involved and a recognition that art is a medium that connects us all, in hopes of promoting unity.

I also hope our viewers from around the world, who come here to cherish the art and the photographers, leave not just in absolute awe but with their hearts ignited, transformed by the profound artistry woven within each piece, feeling a renewed sense of connection to the beauty of life itself.

Through her publications, photo tours, workshops, and curated projects, she nurtures creativity, fosters artistic growth, and encourages others to explore new ways of seeing and creating. Pamela’s distinctive approach has earned her respect as both an artist and a mentor, and her influence extends beyond photography into the broader creative community, where she is known for innovation, thought leadership, and a commitment to excellence. EXTRA EYES PHOTO TOURS  Pamela Goodyer’s New Jersey photography program has taught thousands of students over more than ten years, through classes led by her and her staff at night and on weekends.
